Vegetarian Personal Chef
I cook world-influenced, plant-based meals in your home for you to enjoy at your convenience. Everything is made with organic ingredients, seasonally based, and created just for you and your family, according to your tastes. You'll find the flavors of India, Southeast Asia, and Mexico, and plenty of fresh lemon and lime, homemade curry pastes, and delicately balanced herbs and spices.
How It Works
We begin with a complimentary consultation in your home to discuss your food preferences and nutritional needs, then decide the best services and scheduling for you. On your cook days, I will come to your home, spend 3-5 hours cooking, and leave behind a fridge filled with all of your meals (and a spotless kitchen). All meals will be labeled and have heating instructions. The menus will be created just for you, each time, and will always be emailed to you before each cook date for your approval.
Who It's For
Personal chef services are for anyone who doesn't have the time or inclination to cook. My clients are couples, singles, and busy families who find it difficult to put a healthful meal on the table at the end of the day. They're meat-eaters, vegans, gluten-free, dairy-free, and everything in between.
There are two packages to choose from: Entrees and Sides and One Pot Meals. Both packages include the cost of groceries.
Entrees and Sides
3 entrees and 3 sides

Soba Noodles with tofu and veggies, citrus sesame dressing
Creamy pumpkin miso soup with toastedpumpkin seeds
Ras el hanout spiced eggplant stuffed with mushrooms, spinach, and cilantro
Beluga lentils with ruby red grapefruit, pomegranate molasses, and mint
White bean, roasted garlic, and rosemary phyllo parcels with apple ginger chutney
Mixed greens with roasted seasonal squash, pomegranate seeds, walnuts, and apple cider vinaigrette
One Pot Meals
4 one pot dishes
at least 4 portions of each, 16 total meals
Moroccan vegetable tagine with saffron and homemade preserved lemon
Caribbean curry with coconut, thyme, and black-eyed peas
Red quinoa chili with chipotle, yams, and peppers
Lentil shepherd's pie with mashed cauliflower topping
Vegetarian Cooking Classes
Whether you are a novice cook or have been cooking for years but want to learn some new tricks and techniques, I can create a class just for you. Get inspired and learn some essential tips for quick week-night meals or more elaborate weekend feasts. My cooking classes are hands-on and tailored to exactly what you want to learn. Classes take place in your home so you can feel comfortable using your own equipment and discover what tools you still might need to be a successful home cook. They last about three hours, with up to four participants.
$450 minimum, depending upon menu and participants.
I am available for small on-site, multi-day retreat catering in the Bay Area and beyond. My organic, plant-based cuisine is the perfect accompaniment to yoga or mediation events. Please contact me for pricing.
Recipe Testing and Development
Whether it's testing recipes for a new cookbook or developing dishes for a magazine article, I can help you bring your ideas to life. Creating new and exciting plant-based meals is what I do everyday and I know it takes repetition and consistency to get a recipe just right.
